Anthony Edwards Wants To Improve Defensively
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards put together a solid second half of the season in 2020. His rookie campaign started slow, but he showed promising signs of being a cornerstone piece of this organization. Edwards recently mentioned that his goal for this season was to average two or three steals per game. That is quite a big leap for someone who averaged 1.3 steals per 36 minutes last season. His fantasy value would obviously get significantly better if he improved defensively. It seems unlikely that he'll reach his goal, but the fact he wants to get better on defense is positive for fantasy managers. It sounds like Edwards' value is on the rise heading into the season.
