3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Aristides Aquino (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday. Initially, the injury designation was a left calf strain. However, Aquino underwent an MRI on his left leg and the results of the tests revealed that he had a high ankle sprain. Reds beat writer Mark Sheldon reports that Aquino could be out for between four and six weeks, but he could return sooner if he gets good news while visiting a specialist in Cincinnati in the coming days.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
