3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays (hand) will be held out of action once again for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. This will be his third straight missed game. The 26-year-old was cleated on his left hand during Thursday's game. On Sunday, Hays stated that he hopes to increase his baseball activities on Monday. He added that the swelling on his hand is down and that he did some throwing on Saturday while not wearing a glove on his left hand. Hays is off to a solid start to the year, slashing .291/.364/.444 with three home runs, 12 RBI and 12 runs over 31 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
