3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays (hand) went through batting practice on Monday. He is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game, but there is some hope that he could return on Tuesday or even be utilized off the bench on Monday. Orioles manager Brandon Hyde stated on Monday that Hays has progressed well. Hays was cleated on his left hand this past Thursday and he wound up sitting out the entirety of the team's three-game series against the Detroit Tigers this past weekend. Ryan McKenna is making his third straight start in left field with Hays out of the starting lineup for the fourth consecutive game on Monday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
