Austin Meadows Launches Solo Home Run On Sunday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, and a strikeout in Sunday's 9-6 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He blasted a solo shot off Jorge Lopez to deep right field to trim the Orioles lead 4-2. It was his 21st long ball of the season. The 26-year-old is slashing .242/.328/.475 with 21 home runs, 77 RBI, 62 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 442 plate appearances in 2021. Meadows has been an offensive force in 2021 and has seen his ISO jump from .167 last year to .226 this season. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Meadows as he emerges as one of the top outfielders in the game.
