4 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Austin Nola was scratched from the team’s lineup without a reason given on Tuesday. Joe Odom is starting in Nola’s place, and with Tom Murphy (foot) out for an extended period of time, Odom may get a long look behind the plate. Tuesday is Odom’s MLB debut, and although playing time may be relatively easy to come by for the 28-year-old, he doesn’t offer much to get excited about from a fantasy perspective. Odom owns a career .239/.305/.366 slash line over seven minor league seasons, and he’s unlikely to be much of an offensive factor in the majors either.--Sam Chinitz
