4 years agoNew York Knicks point/shooting guard Austin Rivers (illness) is all set for a return to action Thursday against Sacramento with the team not listing him on its injury report. Rivers has played a combined five minutes of game action since Feb. 7, but with Elfrid Payton (hamstring) tagged as doubtful to play, Rivers could see a bump in usage right away. The odd man out in a massively crowded New York backcourt, Rivers' quickest path to fantasy relevance would be a deal to a new organization. For the time being, Rivers' appeal stems entirely as an upside DFS play, which he'll be Thursday versus a Kings unit that has posted the league's worst defensive efficiency this season.--Jesse Borek
