Austin Rivers To Miss First Game As A Rocket On Wednesday
6 years agoHouston Rockets point/shooting guard Austin Rivers has been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest versus the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a sore right elbow. Rivers’ previous two absences this season came when he was being ping-ponged around NBA rosters before eventually landing in Houston. Since then, Rivers has averaged 10.5 points across 33.3 minutes per game with the Rockets and made his case for becoming a season-long fantasy commodity, along with a solid DFS value play on most nights. Rivers will have ample time to rest up during the All-Star break with his next chance to play coming Feb. 21 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
