5 years agoHouston Rockets guard Austin Rivers has expressed interest in eventually becoming an NBA coach. Rivers goes on to say that his interest in coaching continues to grow, but he's also interested in being a player agent or general manager. His father Doc Rivers, has been an NBA head coach since the 1999-2000 season. He won the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics during the 2007-2008 season. His son is only 27 years old, so his playing days aren't likely going to be over soon. However, it appears the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as Rivers wants to get into coaching much like his father did after his playing career.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
