4 years agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo was nearly unguardable during Saturday's loss to the Nets, racking up a career-high 41 points on 14-for-20 shooting. With Miami still decimated by injuries and the league's health and safety protocols, Adebayo capitalized on Brooklyn's limited size on the interior, while adding nine assists and five rebounds for the best regular-season performance of his four-year career. He also shot 12-for-14 from the foul line across his 38 minutes, remaining the focal point of the Heat offense down the stretch. How quickly the Nets can adjust to Adebayo's deft touch remains to be seen, but the two teams will run it back Monday, which should bode in his favor.--Jesse Borek
