5 years agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo collected 14 points and 14 rebounds across 36 minutes during Monday’s defeat to the Washington Wizards. Having crash-landed on the scene as a top tier fantasy asset this season, Adebayo closes out December having averaged 11.1 rebounds per contest, the most of any month in his career. While he was able to record five assists versus Washington, he logged six turnovers, which has popped up as a minor bugaboo in his first 33 games, albeit not altogether too concerning considering how often he handles the ball. He remains an elite rebounding -- and thereby double-double -- threat on a nightly basis ahead of Thursday’s meeting with Toronto.--Jesse Borek
