5 years agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo put up 21 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and a block in a 117-100 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Adebayo finished down low with authority several times in this one and made the right pass more often than not. He's made huge strides as a playmaker. It's the ninth double-double of the year for the 22-year-old through 15 games and his first with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Adebayo is having a breakout year, averaging career-highs in every stat category except three-pointers and free throws. The former Kentucky center will look to continue his success Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets, who rank in the bottom-10 in both points and rebounds allowed per game.--Tim Capurso
