7 years agoThe return of Texas Rangers starting pitcher Doug Fister from the disabled list on Wednesday could have spelled the end of Bartolo Colon’s time in the Rangers rotation. However, Colon has been one of the bright spots in the Texas rotation this season. In three starts, Colon has pitched 19 1/3 innings with six earned runs and 13 strikeouts. To accommodate Colon, the Rangers will use a six-man rotation for the time being. Lack of strikeouts is the limiting factor for Colon in most leagues, but if you just need solid innings, he is a good add in 14-team leagues and a matchup-based streamer in anything shallower.--Ben Rolfe
