6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons scored 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting in Tuesday's season-opening loss to the Boston Celtics. The second-year playmaker also grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out eight assists to go along with four steals and a pair of blocks. Simmons is off to a strong start to his second NBA campaign, and he'll look to keep it up on Thursday against the Bulls in another nationally televised contest. Chicago sported the NBA's fourth-worst scoring defense and allowed the second-most assists per game, putting Simmons in a good position to follow this performance up with another good one.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
