6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons continued his recent trend of an increased workload during Tuesday’s loss to the Toronto Raptors, recording a season-high 44 minutes. Simmons hit the 20-point mark for the third straight game, adding seven rebounds, six assists and three steals, but also recorded six or more turnovers for the 10th time this season. He likely saw a few extra minutes due to the absence of J.J. Redick, which is worth keeping an eye on for Friday’s match-up versus the Denver Nuggets, whom Simmons recorded a triple-double against back on Jan. 26.--Jesse Borek
