Ben Simmons Puts The Timberwolves In A Headlock
5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons contributed in a variety of ways Wednesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Simmons scored 16 points going seven of thirteen from the field. In addition to Simmons' scoring output, he also had seven assists, three steals, and two blocks. For the season Simmons has been filling the stat sheet averaging 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and eight assists a contest. The 76ers and Simmons next take on the Blazers on Saturday. The Blazers back-court isn't very good defensively so if Simmons is available he should be a great option for fantasy players. The problem is Simmons was caught up in the Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns scrap and maybe looking at a suspension himself.
