Ben Simmons Racks Up Fourth Triple-Double
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons recorded his fourth triple-double of the campaign with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists along with one steal as well as a block in Wednesday's victory over the Knicks. He was 5-for-10 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line. It was his second triple-double in the past three outings. The second-year pro has upped his production in December, especially over the last five games where he is averaging 18.2 points, nine rebounds, and 8.2 assists while committing just 2.4 turnovers. Simmons has struggled against the Raptors, who the Sixers play on Saturday, this season as he is averaging only 9.5 points, nine rebounds, 10.5 assists and nine turnovers over two games against the top team in the Eastern Conference. The point total is his second fewest against any team this season while the turnovers are his most this season.
