5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons got into the triple-double column during Friday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs, collecting 10 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds across his 32 minutes. It wasn’t a particularly efficient shooting night (3-for-10 from the floor, 4-for-8 from the free-throw stripe) for Simmons all-around, but he has shown signs of regaining last season’s form as he is in the midst of having rattled off double-doubles in four straight contests. Last season, Miami held him firmly in check to the average of just four assists per game, a slide that he hopes to snap Saturday when the two clubs square off for the first time this year.--Jesse Borek
