6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin has played 567 career regular-season NBA contests. On Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Lakers, he failed to record a rebound for the first time. Griffin, who averages 9.1 rebounds per contest across his nine NBA seasons, was completely absent from the glass, due in large part to Andre Drummond snagging exactly half of the team’s rebounds by himself. It’s a truly bizarre anomaly from Griffin, who still averages 8.3 rebounds per game in 2018-19. He finished the contest with 16 points and six assists, but all this contest will be remembered for by his owners is the 37 minutes of rebound-less ball by Griffin.--Jesse Borek
