6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin posted his fifth double-double of the season with 38 points and 13 rebounds along with six assists over 37 minutes in a loss to the 76ers on Saturday afternoon. Griffin was 12-for-21 from the field, 2-for-7 from beyond the arc and a season-high 12-for-16 from the free-throw line. It was his third most shot attempts this year, but his most since the last time the two teams met -- the nine-year veteran pumped in 50 points on 20 of 35 shooting while also grabbing 14 rebounds and doling out six assists in 44 minutes on Oct. 23. The 12 field-goal makes were the 29-year-old's second most this year. Moving forward, fantasy owners should expect Griffin to continue the best basketball of his career.--Daniel Benjamin
