6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Blake Griffin scored 31 of his 45 points in the first half in the 123-110 crucial loss to the Thunder on Friday. Griffin nailed a career-high nine triples on the night and added seven rebounds with three assists and two steals in 35 minutes of action. Griffin returned to the lineup after missing three games with knee soreness and got going early on with the hot hand. The Pistons are going to need to Griffin in the remaining three games in this season to ensure a playoff spot in the East, so owners can hope he continues to have the hand the rest of the way.--Gianni Costantiello
