Blake Griffin Outscores The Magic In Overtime
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Blake Griffin personally outscored the Orlando Magic 7-6 in overtime to help the Pistons to pick up just their second victory in the last seven outings on Wednesday night. Griffin finished with 30 points along with five assists, four rebounds and two blocked shots in 40 minutes. The 29-year-old was 11-for-18 from the field, 1-for-2 from beyond the arc, and 7-for-10 from the charity stripe. It marked his fourth 30-point outing in the last six games. He is having a pretty strong January as he is averaging 29 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 steals for the month. The Pistons face the Heat on Friday. Griffin, like Andre Drummond, had a monster game against the Heat in the teams first meeting this year as he racked up 24 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists.
