Blake Griffin Ruled Out For Saturday’s Game
4 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin (rest) has been deemed unavailable to suit up for Saturday's contest versus the 76ers as the team continues to monitor his injury progress. Griffin has yet to play in both legs of a back-to-back this season, and after seeing 29 minutes in Friday's loss, his absence doesn't come as a surprise. Saddiq Bey and Sekou Doumbouya are candidates to see an increase in workload without Griffin available, while Jerami Grant should see a massive uptick in usage as Derrick Rose (knee) has also been ruled out. Griffin's next chance to return comes Monday against Philadelphia, with another back-to-back looming in the middle of the week.
