6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin led the way with a team-high 27 points during Saturday’s win over the Boston Celtics. The scoring outburst gives Griffin at least 20 points in each of his last nine contests; through his first 26 games, he is on pace for a new career high in scoring at 25.7 points per game. While Griffin did commit five turnovers Saturday, he added eight rebounds and six assists while shooting 10-for-13 from the free-throw stripe. His next outing comes against the Milwaukee Bucks, whom he dropped 31 points against back on Dec. 5.--Jesse Borek
