7 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin struggled a bit on Monday as his team fell to the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 118-103. Though he scored 22 points, he struggled shooting the ball, finishing things up going 8-for-17 from the field and a forgetful 1-for-6 from deep. He also pulled down six boards, but was sloppy taking care of the rock, turning the ball over five times on the night. It isn't surprising that Griffin would see a small decrease in production after playing a back-to-back against teams that like to push the pace. Detroit will get a much needed night off before hosting the Hawks on Wednesday night, a team that allowed Griffin to score 23 points against them just a few nights ago.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
