Blake Griffin Suffers Concussion
7 years agoLos Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin (concussion) just can't seem to stay healthy, as he was elbowed in the head by Warriors center JaVale McGee. Griffin was down on the floor for a good amount of time, but he did walk to the locker room under his own power. Given the nature of Griffin's injury history, there's a good chance he's looking at a multi-game absence. He will have to go through the NBA's concussion protocol before being cleared to return. Griffin lasted just 10 minutes, finishing with five points and two boards. Montrezl Harrell would be the ideal beneficiary of a Griffin absence, with minutes split across the board between Sam Dekker and Wesley Johnson. However, they're more suited for deeper leagues.
