Blake Griffin To Miss Second Straight Contest
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to left knee soreness. Griffin’s knee issues must be significantly hampering him if he’s being ruled out over 24 hours prior to tip as the Pistons are embroiled in a tight Eastern Conference playoff race, which may not bode well for his prospects of suiting up soon. Thon Maker entered the starting five in his place Saturday, while Andre Drummond can be expected to hunt down even more rebounds than usual. Griffin’s next chance to return comes Wednesday, again facing the Pacers.
