Bo Bichette Clubs 18th Homer
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette hit a go-ahead two-run homer on Monday, but it wasn't enough as his club fell to the Red Sox 5-4 in the series opener. The 23-year-old was once again hitting out of the cleanup spot where he finished the night going 1-for-4 with his home run counting as his second long ball in three games since moving down the lineup. The Jays top of the order has been reshuffled over the weekend, but it should only mean that Bichette will see more RBI than run opportunities as long as it sticks. He's proven to be one of the top five-category performers in 2021 with 18 HR, 77 runs, 67 RBI, 13 SB, and a .296 BA.
