Bo Bichette Continues Setting Records
5 years agoToronto Blue Jay Bo Bichette stayed red-hot to open his major league career, doubling off of fellow rookie Brendan McKay in the third inning of the Blue Jay 4-3 win over Tampa on Wednesday afternoon. The rookie's double in eight straight games broke the team record of seven set by Carlos Delgado in 2000. Bichette now has a 10-game hitting streak to open his career in the majors and is now slashing .409/.458/.795 with a 228 wRC+ over his first 48 plate appearances. The son of Dante will eventually cool off but he's worth riding until then.
