Bo Bichette Extends Hitting Streak To 11 Games, Homers Twice
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette slugged a game-winning home run in the ninth inning of Wednesday's game against reliever Chad Green and the New York Yankees. The young shortstop finished the game 3-for-5 with two home runs and a stolen base in the 5-4 victory. Bichette is now 16-for-49 (.327) with four home runs and two steals through 12 games. He hit just five home runs in 29 games during an injury-filled 2020. He has hits in 11 straight games and is 8-for-16 (.500) over his past four games. The hot streak has coincided with the club's move of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. up into the three-hole behind Bichette.
