3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette got his first career start out of the cleanup spot on Saturday and went on to go 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI in the club's 10-3 win over the Mets. The 23-year-old swatted a pair of singles and also chipped in with his 17th dinger of the season in what turned out to be a smart move by Charlie Montoyo to shuffle up the top half of the lineup. Bichette is now sitting pretty with a .294/.345/.479 slash line with 76 runs, 63 RBI, and 13 thefts through 94 games in 2021. Whether he remains getting at-bats as the cleanup hitter remains to be seen, but it's certain that he'll stay in the top half of the lineup where his counting stats will continue to thrive.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
