4 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette (knee) is slated to play a simulated game on Tuesday as he continues to rehab a Grade 1 sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. Bichette took five at-bats as the designated hitter in a simulated game on Monday, but he will play shortstop on Tuesday. Taking reps in the infield is a sizable step in the right direction for the talented 22-year-old and suggests that a return could happen shortly if all goes well. Bichette was slashing .361/.391/.672 with five homers and 13 RBI in 61 at-bats before going down on August 15.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
