Boban Marjanovic Expected To Remain In Dallas

2 years agoDallas Mavericks center Boban Marjanovic is expected to remain on the roster. The big man has one year remaining on his current deal and is due to make $3.5 million this season. Despite averaging only 4.3 points and 1.7 rebounds throughout 23 appearances during the 2021-22 campaign, the 33-year-old is a proven locker room leader, so the team would like to keep him at all costs. Still, it's unlikely he will see interest from fantasy managers heading into October. Yet, if he can carve out a more consistent role in the lineup, he'll be worth a look in deeper formats. Marjanovic may also get a start here or there during the year, so he may also receive some waiver consideration from those dealing with injuries.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
