Boban Marjanovic Ruled Out Thursday

3 years agoDallas Mavericks center Boban Marjanovic (back) will sit Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs. Marjanovic popped up on the injury report with back tightness, but was eventually upgraded to probable and all signs pointed to him playing. Despite this, Marjanovic was a late scratch, leaving the Mavs with some decisions to make with Kristaps Porzingis (back) also out. Maxi Kleber may take the starting power forward spot or they shift Dorian Finney-Smith to the four and add Jalen Brunson to the starting lineup. Regardless, all three will likely see an increased role on Thursday. The Mavs are starting a back-to-back set which could have contributed to Marjanovic sitting.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
