Bobby Portis Has Team Option Declined
4 years agoNew York Knicks forward Bobby Portis will be heading to free agency after his team option was declined. He was set to make $15.7 million next season, so it doesn't come as a surprise that the Knicks decided to decline it. They also waived Elfrid Payton and Taj Gibson to open up more money for free agency. Portis could have standard league value, assuming he finds himself the right spot. However, his fantasy value is likely going to be inconsistent, so don't expect him to be relevant in standard leagues.
