3 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward/center Bol Bol has been placed in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, ruling him out for the time being. Per Mike Singer of the Denver Post, Bol is expected to be sidelined for multiple games, with Petr Corneile being recalled from the G-League to take Bol's roster spot. Even when healthy, Bol has been scarcely utilized this season, averaging just 4.7 minutes across 10 contests. Still only 22 years old, Bol's absence further weakens the Nuggets depth, with the team already down Jamal Murray (knee), Michael Porter Jr. (back), Bones Hyland and Austin Rivers.
