Bradley Beal Drops 55 Points Against Milwaukee
5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal put up 55 points in an overtime loss to Milwaukee, shooting 19 of 33 from the field and eight of 13 from beyond the arc in 41 minutes. This is getting hard to watch, as Beal, who also finished with a season-high nine turnovers, is doing his best to drag Washington to victory on a nightly basis. After scoring 53 points in a loss to Chicago on Sunday, Beal became the first player since Kobe Bryant in 2007 to post 50-point outings on back-to-back nights. The Wizards are somehow only 3.5 games back of the eighth seed out East. As long as they remain in the playoff hunt, expect Beal to do everything in his All-Star level power to get them there, a task that continues with a favorable matchup against a depleted Brooklyn team on Wednesday.
