5 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal is expected to travel with the organization for the upcoming NBA restart later this month. Beal is reportedly still undecided about playing during the restart. It sounds like Beal's decision hinges on his conditioning, according to head coach Scott Brooks. The Wizards have a decent chance of catching the Brooklyn Nets after the organization lost multiple key players. However, the Wizards appear more concerned with evaluating young talent than competing this postseason. It's unclear who would benefit on the Wizards if Beal sits out. The team would be in big trouble on offense if that happens.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal is anticipated to decline his player option. However, according to ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, he is expected to sign a five-year deal that would pay the superstar a total of $248 million. Without a doubt, the veteran has been a fantastic fantasy producer over the years, averaging 22.1 points, 4.2 assists, and 4.1 boards while shooting 37.2% from behind the arc. Yet, Beal has played an entire season just twice during his decade in the NBA, all in D.C., so fantasy managers should expect some absences in 2022-23, although he has top-10 potential if can stay healthy.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal will turn down his $36.4 million player option. The multi-time All-Star remained mum on his future. However, it now appears he will head to free agency after spending his entire career in D.C. Unquestionably, Beal is one of the most talented players in the league, holding lifetime averages of 22.1 points, 4.2 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 steals. He's also shot 37.2% from deep. Yet, he's battled numerous injuries throughout his tenure as a professional and will enter the 2022-23 campaign coming off a season-ending wrist injury that required surgery. Still, if the 28-year-old can stay healthy, he has top-25 fantasy potential (possibly higher) written all over him, no matter where he ends up this summer.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 years agoUpcoming unrestricted free agent guard Bradley Beal admitted he's already decided where he'll be suiting up next season. However, the veteran is refusing to disclose where that will be. Without a doubt, Beal has been one of the most productive players in the league over the years, so naturally, he is expected to receive a large amount of interest over the summer. Still, he has battled countless injuries, including season-ending wrist surgery in April. As a result, his fantasy stock will continue to take a hit until he proves he can remain healthy moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 years agoUpcoming unrestricted free agent Bradley Beal has already received plenty of interest from multiple organizations. Numerous players around the league have also joined in, making efforts to lure the All-Star to their respective teams. The veteran, who continues to rehab from wrist surgery, reportedly hasn't made up his mind regarding his future in D.C. However, no matter what uniform he wears in October, he should continue providing more than enough production for fantasy managers in all formats. Still, Beal will need to remain healthy, which has been a significant issue throughout his career.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
