Bradley Beal Goes For 29 Points Amid Double-Double In Defeat
5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal once again paced his squad’s offense with 29 points during Saturday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. For just the second time this season, Beal notched a double-double with points and rebounds, snatching 10 boards, while adding four assists and four steals. On pace to set a new career high in scoring with 27.5 points per contest, Beal is on the verge of being named an All-Star for the third consecutive season. His nightly usage remains sky high as Washington rebuilds around him without John Wall in the picture this season. He next faces Detroit on Monday, who has traditionally corralled the high-octane scorer, limiting him to 17.5 points per game, the third-lowest mark of any team in the league for Beal’s career.
