Bradley Beal Makes Season-High 11 Free Throws
6 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal scored 10 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter as the Wiz outscored the Clippers 39-23 in the final stanza of their Tuesday night win. Beal made eight of 17 shots from the field -- although he missed all three of three-point attempts -- and a season-high 11 of 14 free throws. He also contributed seven assists, tying a season-best mark, and three rebounds. The 25-year-old has struggled shooting the ball from behind the arc recently, making just eight of his last 30 attempts (26.6 percent), so it was nice to see him get to the line more often than usual. Beal, who lit up Toronto for 32 points in the first meeting this year, will look to top the 20-point mark for the fifth time in the past six games against the Raptors on Friday.
