5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard/small forward Bradley Beal was scorching-hot from the field during Thursday’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, compiling a game-high 36 points on 15-for-22 shooting across just 29 minutes. He shot 4-for-8 from long range, marking his highest total of makes from deep in a single contest since Dec. 16, as he also added eight assists and two rebounds to his total. His minutes total haven’t been up to his season averages since returning, but that hasn’t slowed his scoring in the slightest. He next takes the floor Sunday against Atlanta, a team that has had immense difficulty in slowing opposing wings this season.--Jesse Borek
