3 years agoAfter sitting out the last game, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (hip) returned to the court with an inefficient shooting night. In 32 minutes, Beal took 22 shots but only made eight of them and was a further 3-for-13 behind the three-point line. He managed to add four assists and three rebounds, but it also came with five turnovers. After the game, the three-time All-Star told reporters he liked the looks he was getting and promised to bounce back. However, it was Washington's first loss of the year, and they will need Beal to get right if they want to make a second consecutive playoff appearance in 2022. Beal and the Wizards will see the Celtics twice this week, sandwiched around a visit from Atlanta. Those two teams are pretty steady against shooting guards this year, so fantasy managers may have to be patient with Beal as he works through his latest injury.--Euan Leith
