5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal made a last-second layup on Friday to help the team to a 119-118 victory over Dallas. The Wizards leader finished with a game-high 29 points on 11-for-28 shooting. He shot 3-for-10 from downtown, adding eight assists, five rebounds, and one steal. Beal had a run of seven consecutive 30-point games cut, but he was the hero of the night for Washington again like many times before this season. The 26-year-old sharpshooter should be back in 30-point form on Sunday in a meeting with another fast-paced team the Grizzlies. Beal scored 29 points in 34 minutes against them in the first meeting of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
