5 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal scored 30 points on 13-for-38 shooting during the win over the Knicks on Monday. With the team down a handful of players, Beal was letting them fly by taking 16 more shot attempts than his season average. He struggled from deep more than usual, shooting 18.2 percent from behind the arc on the night, but was able to semi-offset that number by getting active defensively by recording two steals and two blocks. With C.J. Miles (wrist), Rui Hachimura (groin), Thomas Bryant (foot), Davis Bertans (quadriceps), and Isaiah Thomas (suspension) out of the lineup, the 26-year-old is currently benefiting from 10.9 percent bump in usage, while also seeing an increase in shot attempts and minutes, so keep him going in starting lineups in all formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
