Bradley Beal Tallies A Game-High 24 Points
6 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal scored 24 points on 9-for-20 shooting from the field and 3-for-7 on three-pointers in Wednesday's victory over the Hawks. The seventh-year pro added six rebounds, four assists, and two steals as well as three turnovers. He tallied 17 of his team-high 24 points in the second half, including 11 during a decisive 17-2 fourth-quarter run. It was his fourth straight game of producing at least 19 points and four rebounds. While the 25-year-old's assists have gone up, so has his turnovers as he is averaging 5.4 assists and 3.1 turnovers since the beginning of December. Beal, who is averaging 19 points and two three-pointers on 50 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc in two games against the Heat, and the Wizards will face Miami on Friday.
