Bradley Beal Unlikely To Take Floor Saturday
4 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal (back) has been downgraded to doubtful to play in Saturday's game versus Phoenix due to back tightness. Beal played just 30 minutes during Friday's victory, but it appears unlikely he'll make it onto the floor for the second leg of the back-to-back. After a prolific first half in the scoring column, Beal has slowed as the year has progressed, having averaged just 21.3 PPG over his last six contests, with each contest falling short of his 30.9 PPG season average. An absence from Beal would elevate Russell Westbrook's DFS appeal, especially as he enters play Saturday having logged triple-doubles in seven of his last eight outings.
