3 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Indiana due to a right hip contusion. Beal scuffled to the tune of a 7-for-19 shooting performance in the Wizards' season opener Wednesday; without him in the mix, look for Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyle Kuzma to take on larger offensive roles, with Raul Neto and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could also see their usage trend upward. Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. was optimistic that Beal would be able to return to the floor for Monday's outing against Brooklyn.--Jesse Borek
