Brandon Clarke Scores Career-High 25 Points Off Bench
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small/power forward Brandon Clarke returned to the floor Saturday following a one-game absence and dropped a career-high 25 points as a reserve, helping pace his squad to a victory over the Washington Wizards. Clarke shot 11-for-14 from the field in just 24 minutes, also adding four rebounds. Should his injury ailments be in the past, Clarke is likely a season-long asset, even though he is likely to retain a bench role for Memphis. The rookie is shooting a robust 65.1 percent from the field this season, which has helped him to jump out to the league lead in effective field-goal percentage (69 percent) to this point in the year.
