5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small/power forward Brandon Clarke will be on the shelf for at least the next week after the team announced Tuesday that he sustained a left oblique muscle ailment during Sunday’s game versus Minnesota. He will be re-evaluated in one week’s time, meaning that he will miss at least the Grizzlies’ next four games, with Jaren Jackson Jr. likely to see an increased workload without his backup in the mix. Clarke will join rookie standout JA Morant on the sidelines as the duo have hit a significant halt to their early-season progress.--Jesse Borek
