3 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (quad) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies due to right quad tightness. After the game, Giants manager Gabe Kapler stated that Crawford probably could have stayed in the game and did not seem overly concerned about the injury. The 35-year-old should be considered day-to-day at this point. After the best offensive season of his career in 2021, Crawford has been underwhelming at the plate thus far this year. Over 50 games, he's slashing .220/.307/.362 with five home runs, 24 RBI and 24 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
